We will also provide a space after the main session for you to build upon these new connections you’ve made.

Dr Steve Cross

Steve has been training researchers in networking since 2015, for universities, The Royal Society, Prostate Cancer UK and more. He's also the founder of Bright Club, and the GoPotato initiative!

Dr Joe Fennell

Dr Joe Fennell is a Research Fellow at the Open University and independent consultant. He has maintained a thread of end-user engaged research throughout his career, ranging from commercial agritech, research collaborations with international third sector organisations, and UK Space Agency satellite mission.

Dr Laura Pottinger

Laura Pottinger is a cultural geographer at the University of Manchester with interests in everyday forms of socio-environmental activism and creative research methods. In her interdisciplinary research she works with artists, community and cultural organisations, and researchers from social and environmental sciences.

Dr Pooja Khurana

With a diverse research career spanning seven countries and extensive volunteer work, Pooja now serve as Community Manager at the Marie Curie Alumni Association. She leads global career initiatives for researchers and co-lead the European Citizen Science Project. Pooja is also an advocate for research reform, mental and menstrual health, and citizen representation.

A volunteer group of postdocs/ex-postdocs/researcher developers across institutions of UK/ROI. We organise the annual online and free Postdoc Appreciation Week flagship event, that aims to uplift our postdocs whilst also providing useful information for the community.
